Who We Are

Engine is an arts production company which places a strong emphasis on making great work and delivering exciting projects that put people at the heart of the creative process. The company was founded by its Directors, artist Jai Redman and musician Ian Brownbill. Engine seeks out partners who want to invest in their community, and who value people, as much as they value the arts.

How we work

Based in Salford, Engine takes inspiration from The North West and the impact this region has had around the World, responding to the cultures that emerge from its diverse communities and landscapes. Engine also develops new spaces for artists to work from, helping to achieve a positive impact on their careers. Outward looking, politically and socially engaged, Engine works commercially and accepts commissions from both the public and private sectors.
